Water-resistant, not waterproof. Light beads on the surface, so wipe them away quickly. Coffee drips, pet drool, and juice splashes can all be managed. Measure your cushion — not your sofa. Note the width, depth, and height of the individual cushion and match to our size guide. On fabric sofas with removable cushions, they stay put well — even with dogs jumping on and off. On leather or smooth surfaces, back cushion covers may shift more. Tips: Check the size (too big means more shifting). Tuck the edges in tightly. For leather sofas, use upholstery pins to keep everything in place.

Magic covers fit individual seat and back cushions only. They don't cover arms, sides, or the sofa frame. For arm protection, our Magic Sofa Mat can drape over arm areas. For full sofa coverage in one piece, our Magic Sofa Blanket is the better option. Many customers combine: covers on cushions, mat or blanket for arms.

They hold up well to everyday pet life — hair, dirt, muddy paws, light scratching. The Classic fabric is one of our more resilient options against pet nails. That said, they aren’t puncture-proof. Dogs that dig or scratch a lot can cause snags over time.
